LED Statuses (Firmware 2)

Legacy LED Statuses

NoteFirmware 2 and Firmware 3 for the Handy have similar but slightly different LED statuses. Make sure you look at the guide corresponding to your version.

The Handy uses a colored LED to indicate its operational state. The list of colors below indicates the various states the Handy can enter under firmware version 2.

Status codes

  • Ready

    (Slow)

    The Handy is ready for offline use.

  • Update Failed

    (Slow)

    Unplug Handy, plug it in, and try to update again. If it continues to fail, contact support.

  • Update On-going

    (Fast)

    The Handy is currently updating. Wait 1 to 5 minutes for the process to finish.

  • Update Successful

    (Slow)

    The Handy has been updated without issue. Press any button to restart the Handy.

  • Starting Wi-Fi Setup

    (Fast)

    Initiating Wi-Fi setup process. Wait 5 to 20 seconds.

  • Ready to Setup

    (Slow)

    The Handy is ready to continue with Wi-Fi setup. Connect to the Handy with a Wi-Fi-enabled device.

  • Connected to Handy Servers

    (Slow)

    Your device is connected to the Handy servers through Wi-Fi. Handy cannot be used manually in this mode.

  • Connecting to Wi-Fi

    (Fast)

    The Handy is attempting to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

  • Connected to Wi-Fi

    (Slow)

    The Handy is connected to your Wi-Fi network and ready for online use.

  • Wi-Fi setup successful

    (Slow)

    The Handy Wi-Fi setup was successful. Press any button to restart the Handy.

  • Failed to connect to Wi-Fi

    (Fast)

    Unplug Handy and try the Wi-Fi setup process again. If the issue persists, contact support.

  • Wi-Fi setup not complete

    (Fast)

    You have not completed the Handy Wi-Fi setup. Please finish the process to use online functions.

  • Failed to connect to server

    (Fast)

    Failed to connect to Handy servers. If it continues to fail, contact support.

  • Connected to Handy servers

    (Slow)

    You are connected to the Handy servers and can use the online functionality. Press the Wi-Fi button to disable Wi-Fi and disconnect from the servers.

  • Machine is stuck

    (Fast)

    The Handy has detected obstacles in its path. Remove them to continue. If it continues to fail, contact support.

  • Maximum temperature reached

    (Fast)

    The Handy has overheated. Please give the machine time to cool down.

  • Calibration error

    (Slow)

    Handy could not calibrate correctly. Please remove any obstacles from its path and unplug the Handy. If it continues to fail, contact support.
